One of my friends totaled her first car when she didn't check her blind spot. She still doesn't check cause "I can see everything in the mirror!" Some people never learn.

Exactly. I love road rallies when they're on closed stages, like some of the vintage car rallies. I can't believe this shit has been banned yet because stuff like this seems to happen all the time.

I don't call them douchebags because they are in supercars. I call them douchebags because they are racing on a public road. They could be doing the same in Civic and Imprezas and they would still be douchebags. Behavior like this does not belong on the streets, not ever! There are loads of supercar owners who don't do this kind of shit. It's the assholes with a sense of entitlement, the ones who think a public highway is their private race track, that are the douchebags. They are rich enough to rent a whole fucking race track, why risk other people's lives for their fucking adrenaline rush? The people in the car that was hit could have spinal injury for the rest of their lives thanks to the asshole on the R8. Fuck these assholes.
